Sam Ritter is an experienced professional who has held various roles in the energy industry. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Freepoint Energy Solutions, Sam has expertise in managing risk and trading for C&I portfolios with a focus on ESG and the energy transition. With a background that includes roles at companies such as Genie Energy, GP Renewables & Trading, Plymouth Rock Energy, RBS Sempra Commodities, and Gateway Energy Services, Sam has a wealth of experience in supply management, portfolio management, risk management, and business process engineering. Sam holds a Master's degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Yeshiva University.
