Edward Lopez

Edward Lopez has extensive experience in health and safety management and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Corporate Project Engineering Health and Safety at Freeport-McMoRan since August 2017. Prior to this role, Edward held the position of Manager in the Health and Safety department for Freeport McMoRan Morenci Operations from April 2013 to March 2017. Edward's career also includes a tenure as District Manager at US DOL MSHA from April 2002 to April 2013 and a role as Project Superintendent for Freeport Indonesia from 1985 to 1988, overseeing projects in Tembagapura, Irian Jaya, Indonesia. Additionally, Edward contributes to the operations at Bisbeeborn Lavender Farms through tractor maintenance since May 2019.
