Hannah Rand

Hannah Rand is a Chief Mine Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan, having joined the company in June 2012 after serving as a Mining Engineer. Responsibilities include long-range mine planning and oversight of open pit operations, managing a crew of 15-20 individuals, as well as short and mid-range mine planning to schedule materials and equipment for daily operations. Hannah Rand also completed a Mining Engineer Summer Internship at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. in 2011. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned in 2012.
