Alan D. Hendrix

Alan D. Hendrix, P.E. is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in public works and transportation. Since January 2014, Alan has served as a Senior Advisor in the North Texas Transportation Group at Freese and Nichols. Prior to this role, Alan held various positions at the City of Dallas from June 1995 to January 2014, including Assistant Director of Public Works, Interagency Coordination Program Manager, and Project Manager/Team Leader. Earlier career experience includes a role as Project Manager at Glovier And Associates, Inc., and multiple positions such as Project Manager, Team Leader, and Project Engineer at the City of Dallas from June 1986 to April 1994. Alan earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, completing the degree between 1980 and 1986, and graduated from Dumas High School from 1977 to 1980.
