Blake Simon

Blake Simon, MGIS, is an experienced environmental scientist currently working at Freese and Nichols since September 2022, and as a geospatial analyst at Jesco Environmental & Geotechnical Services, Inc. since June 2021. With a background in wetland biology at APTIM from December 2013 to 2021, Blake Simon has expertise in coastal wetland monitoring and water quality assessments. Prior experience includes serving as a marine mammal observer at JOHN CHANCE LAND SURVEYS, a seasonal field Geocorps intern at the Bureau of Land Management focusing on soil science and water quality, and conducting reptile and amphibian surveys for the National Park Service. Education includes a Master of Geographic Information Systems from The Graduate School at Penn State, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Quality from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
