Chris Poteet

Chris Poteet, P.E., currently serves as an Associate and Program Construction Manager at Freese and Nichols since January 2007. In addition to this role, Chris has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Richardson Independent School District since June 2021 and previously served as a Commissioner for the City of Dallas Landmark Commission from June 2019 to February 2021, having been appointed by a City Councilman. Chris is also a graduate of the Leadership Dallas Class of 2014 through the Dallas Regional Chamber. Prior to these positions, Chris held the role of Logistics Manager at TAMKO Building Products and served as a Captain in the US Army, where duties included operations officer for various divisions. Chris's military career spanned from June 1996 to June 2006 and included various assignments in the Engineer Branch. Academically, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
