Lisa Vitale

Lisa Vitale has over 20 years of experience as a Marine Biologist and Project Manager. Lisa has worked at Freese and Nichols since 2014, where they assess marine and freshwater environments, conducts water quality monitoring and analysis, and manages NEPA documents. Prior to that, they worked at PBS&J / Atkins from 1999 to 2014, focusing on assessing aquatic ecosystems and writing essential fish habitat assessments for environmental impact statements.

Lisa Vitale obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed between 1985 and 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, which they completed between 1996 and 1998. In addition to their educational accomplishments, Lisa Vitale holds the certification of Certified Fisheries Professional from the American Fisheries Society, which they obtained in December 2014. Lisa also possesses additional certifications, including being a Divemaster from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and a Scientific Diver from the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS), although the specific time of obtaining these certifications is not provided.
