Angela King

Angela King, MSW, LISW-S, serves as the Director of Social Services at The Freestore Foodbank since January 2019 and has held the position of Social Worker II and Team Lead at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in the Psychiatry Intake Response Center since March 2015. Furthermore, Angela King has contributed to the academic field as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati's School of Social Work since January 2014, teaching a variety of courses related to social work practice and human behavior. Previous experience includes roles as an ER Social Worker at Premier Health Partners, Clinical Program Supervisor at Lighthouse Youth Services, and Human Services Worker/Juvenile Probation Officer at Hamilton County JFS/Juvenile Probation. Angela King's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati with a focus on Health and Gerontology/Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminology from the University of Kentucky.
