Jean Coggan

Jean Coggan, MBA, serves as the Major Gifts Officer at The Freestore Foodbank since 2018, focusing on addressing hunger and promoting self-reliance in the community. Previously, Jean was an Ambassador for United Way of Greater Cincinnati, where efforts included managing social service agency campaigns and engaging donors. During a lengthy career at Macy's from 1997 to 2017, Jean held various leadership positions, including Director of Corporate Communications, where responsibilities encompassed executive communication and fundraising initiatives, notably raising $10.7 million for United Way in 2015. Jean holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Retailing with an English concentration from Miami University.
