Jessie Fossenkemper

Manager of Community Partnerships and Programs at Freestore Foodbank

Jessie Fossenkemper has a diverse work experience in various nonprofit organizations. Jessie started their career in 2012 as a Construction Team Leader at Sierra Service Project, where they were responsible for planning and executing multiple community projects. From 2014 to 2015, Jessie worked as a Phoenix Regional Coordinator and later as a Site Director at Sierra Service Project, where they organized service programs, managed staff and volunteers, and maintained relationships with local businesses and nonprofits.

In 2016, Jessie joined The Freestore Foodbank as a Volunteer Coordinator/Volunteer Specialist. Jessie managed volunteer events and maintained relationships with volunteers, corporate and private groups. In 2017, they briefly worked as the Guest Services Manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati.

Jessie then returned to The Freestore Foodbank in 2017 as a Mobile Market Coordinator. In this role, they managed program operations, worked with vendors and donors, and conducted nutrition education. Jessie later became the Community Partnership Manager, overseeing outreach efforts and managing community partnerships and programs. Currently, Jessie holds the position of Manager of Community Partnerships and Programs at The Freestore Foodbank, taking a leading role in developing and implementing initiatives to fulfill the organization's mission.

Jessie Fossenkemper obtained a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, starting in 2014 and completing in 2015. Prior to that, Jessie achieved a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution, spanning from 2010 to 2014.
