Katie Young, M.Ed.

Program Manager - LIFT the Tristate at Freestore Foodbank

Katie Young, M.Ed., has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Katie began their career as the Director of Career Services/Externship Coordinator at Lincoln College of Technology, Florence Campus, where they provided career placement assistance and support to graduates in various fields. Katie also facilitated externship placements for students to gain clinical experience.

In 2013, Young transitioned to Ross Education, LLC as a Regional Career Services Manager. Their responsibilities included managing career services for multiple campuses and assisting students with career placement, resume writing, and interview skills.

Moving forward to 2016, Young joined Cincinnati State as a Job Coach/Business Developer for the Supply Chain Career Development Center (SCCDC). During their time there, they played a crucial role in a Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grant, awarded to the college by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Most recently, Young served as the Program Manager - LIFT the Tristate at The Freestore Foodbank starting in 2018. Their role encompassed logistics, inventory management, facilities management, and transportation for a free job training program aimed at unemployed and underemployed adults in the TriState region.

Throughout their career, Young has demonstrated dedication to supporting individuals in their career development and providing essential job training opportunities.

Katie Young, M.Ed. holds a Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) with a focus on Education: Training and Development from Central Michigan University. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and an Associate of Arts (AA) in Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati.
