Lissa Urriquia Gapultos

Lissa Urriquia Gapultos is an experienced fundraising professional with a strong background in securing and managing funding for nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Foundation Relations Officer at The Freestore Foodbank since October 2019, Lissa focuses on major gifts from private and corporate foundations and has played a key role in raising support for initiatives related to childhood hunger, workforce development, and capital needs, contributing to the $30 million Growing Beyond Hunger campaign. Previously, Lissa held various positions at Cincinnati Opera, including Director of Corporate & Foundation Giving, where responsibilities included managing diverse funding sources and corporate relations. Lissa's early career included serving as the Development and Marketing Manager at Caracole Inc, overseeing events and fundraising campaigns. Lissa holds an M.Ed in Educational Foundations from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Psychology from Assumption College.
