Shama Gupta

Shama Gupta is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador at Freeths LLP since April 2006, Shama has also held positions such as External Examiner for the Solicitors Regulation Authority between September 2003 and August 2014, and Professional Support Lawyer at Smith Partnership from September 2004 to April 2006. In academia, Shama contributed as a Senior Lecturer in Law and Course Leader for the MA/PG Diploma in Law at Bournemouth University from May 1994 to August 2004. Early career experience includes working as an Assistant Solicitor in the Real Estate Department at Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills) from November 1988 to February 1991.
