Sr. Principal Service Engineer, Service Excellence & Operations Quality at FreeWheel

Chao Song has a diverse work experience starting from 2008 when they participated in the Olympic Internship Program at Atos Origin as a Helpdesk Supervisor. They went on to have internships at Tata Consultancy Services and CNPC Materials Company as a Java Engineer. In 2011, they were an intern at IBM, where they developed tools using J2SE, J2EE, and Dojo. Chao joined MSCI Inc. in 2012 as a Functional QA before moving on to FreeWheel in 2013, where they held multiple roles including Service Engineer, Support Engineer, and Senior Manager in the Global Support Team. Their most recent role at FreeWheel is as a Sr. Principal Service Engineer, focusing on Service Excellence and Operations Quality.

Chao Song holds a Master's degree in Service Science and Engineering from Peking University, which was obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, Chao Song obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Beihang University, from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Chao Song has obtained various certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Accounting for Managers, Edge Academy Certified in Data-Driven Planning and Marketing Foundations, ITIL, and Project Management Professional (PMP). The PMP certification was obtained in March 2019 from the Project Management Institute.
