Matteo Tortella

Matteo Tortella is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product solutions and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Product Solutions Engineer at FreeWheel since September 2022, Matteo previously held the role of Data Scientist at Accenture from October 2020 to September 2022, and Data Operations Manager at BidBerry for a brief period in 2020. Matteo's journey in data science began with a rigorous five-month bootcamp at Flatiron School, culminating in projects that include developing a hate speech classifier for Twitter, a Convolutional Neural Network for pneumonia detection, and a customer churn classifier for a Syrian telco. Prior to a focus on data science, Matteo gained valuable experience in various management positions, including Partner Manager and Programmatic Strategy Associate at TripleLift. Matteo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Chinese from SOAS University of London and completed an Intensive Chinese Language Programme at Beijing Normal University.
