Michael Riordan

Mike Riordan is a leading financial expert who brings extensive operational, finance and accounting expertise. Mike has over 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations and was appointed Chief Financial Officer of FreightCar America in March 2022, having served as the company’s Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since November 2020. He leads all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and treasury.

Prior to joining FreightCar America, Mike was Controller at InnerWorkings from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining InnerWorkings, he served in several financial management positions at Zekelman Industries from 2013 to 2017. Mike also held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
