Alec Cobham

Alec Cobham currently serves as a Non-Production Material Buyer at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, managing purchase requisitions for engineering departments and processing them into purchase orders in SAP. Prior experiences include a role as a Business Supply Chain Specialist at Milliken & Company, focused on production scheduling and order fulfillment, and a Buyer position at JCB North America, where procurement was for government defense projects. Alec also held a Supply Chain Analyst Intern position at Cummins Inc., where the focus was on analyzing process failures in assembly lines, and served as a Supply Chain Consultant for Harvest Hope Food Bank, optimizing delivery routes for senior citizens. Early career experience includes an internship in the Office of U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson, analyzing Sino-American trade policy. Alec holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and has also studied at Beijing Language and Culture University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
