Liam Childers

Liam Childers is an Environmental Engineer at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation since May 2021, responsible for interfacing with regulatory agencies, conducting environmental studies, and ensuring compliance with environmental laws. Liam also coordinates hazardous waste shipments and promotes environmental training programs. Prior to this role, Liam served as an Electric Vehicle Process Engineer, creating work instructions and implementing best practices, and worked as a Process Engineering Intern at Amazon, where customer service skills were honed. Liam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering at Clemson University, expected to graduate in May 2027.
