Cody Hazelwood

Cody Hazelwood has a diverse work experience. Cody currently serves as the VP of Engineering at FreightWise, LLC. and previously held the position of Director of Engineering at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Atlas. Cody also has experience at Canary Computer Engineering, where they co-founded the company and worked as a Software Engineer. Cody has also worked at Rustici Software and Checkpoint Systems as a Software Engineer. Additionally, Cody has freelanced as a Software Engineer and Audio Engineer, working on various projects such as developing applications for Android and iOS, designing and installing audio systems, and providing support for events and bands. Cody has also held positions at the City of Kingston, TN and the City of Murfreesboro, TN, where they worked as an IT Specialist, Night Manager, Theatre Specialist, and Audio Engineer. Throughout their career, Cody has demonstrated expertise in technologies such as Node.js, Angular, iOS, Android, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Cody Hazelwood began their education journey in 2008 at Roane State Community College, where they pursued Pre-Engineering. In 2009, they transferred to Tennessee Technological University to study Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution. From 2010 to 2013, Cody attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Professional Computer Science.
