Ashwin Raghuraman

Ashwin Raghuraman has a strong background in leadership and education, demonstrated through their work experiences. Ashwin served as the Vice President and later the President of Irvington Model UN, where they successfully led a nationally-ranked competitive MUN team and expanded the club's membership. Ashwin also held leadership roles at Fremont Debate Academy, serving as the Executive Vice President and then as the Vice President of Education. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an intern for Senator Wieckowski, where they handled constituent emails and assisted with Senate events. Ashwin has also contributed to the community by founding Warm Springs Civics and serving as the Secretary of Fremont BAStA. Furthermore, they have showcased their passion for teaching as the JV Captain of Irvington Debate, where they taught debate skills to numerous members. Through their work experiences, Ashwin has gained valuable insights into politics and education, empowering him to make a difference.

Ashwin Raghuraman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame from 2023 to 2027. Prior to that, they attended Irvington High School from 2019 to 2023.
