Krista Winkelman

Krista Winkelman serves as the Executive Director of Student Services at Fremont School District 79 since July 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Principal and Associate Principal at Fremont Middle School from August 2016 to July 2023. Prior to that, Krista Winkelman was the Student Services/RtI Coordinator at Fremont School District 79 from August 2009 to June 2016 and worked as a Special Education Teacher in the district from January 1993 to June 2009. Krista Winkelman holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, both from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
