Joe Pizzo

Joe Pizzo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joe started their career as a Freelance Audio Engineer in 1983, providing audio mixing, system design, and installation services for bands and venues. In 1991, they joined GE Capital as an Operations Analyst and gradually rose to the position of Collections Manager, managing a team of 30. After leaving GE Capital, Joe founded their own company called Media Active Productions in 1997, offering audio, video, and lighting production services for special events and corporate conventions. Joe also provided talent agency services to local bands. In 2007, they briefly worked as a Lead Audio/Lighting technician at Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede. Joe joined The Fremont Street Experience in 2012 as a Lead Audio Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining and purchasing audio and lighting equipment. In 2014, they became the Production Manager, Talent Buyer, and Ops Manager for the same company, overseeing all production elements for a large outdoor concert venue. Furthermore, they held the role of Director of Entertainment Operations & Special Events at Fremont Street Experience starting in 2023.

Joe Pizzo attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 1983 to 1985. During their time there, they studied Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
