Albert Gemmrich

President of the Grand Est League , formerly the Alsace League, Albert Gemmrich has been part of the FFF Executive Committee since 2012 where he is in charge of the regional leagues file. Born on February 13, 1955 in Bas-Rhin, this former striker made his first appearance in Division 1 in 1973 under the colors of RC Strasbourg at the age of 18. Champion of France 1979 with the Alsatian club of which he is the second highest scorer in history, Gemmrich, passed through Lille, Bordeaux and Nice, also wore the jersey of the French team five times (2 goals). At the end of his career, he completed his coaching diplomas and worked in Strasbourg (training center then staff member).
