Christoph W.

Christoph W. has a diverse work experience starting from 2002 to the present. Christoph worked at various companies in different roles. Christoph was a Mathematical-Technical Software Developer at Forschungszentrum Jülich from 2002 to 2007. Christoph then worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK from 2007 to 2009. After that, Christoph joined DESY as a Research Assistant from 2010 to 2014. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Sociomantic Labs, first as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Senior Research Data Scientist. Christoph then joined dunnhumby in 2019 as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer until 2021, and then transitioned to the role of Lead Research Data Scientist until 2023. Currently, Christoph is the Chief Data Scientist at Frequenz, starting in 2023.

Christoph W. began their education in 2002 at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Technomathematik and completed their Vordiplom in 2005. Christoph then continued their studies at Freie Universität Berlin from 2005 to 2010, earning a Diplom in physics. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2020, Christoph W. attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in physics.
