Dylan Howard Cromwell

Dylan Howard Cromwell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dylan Howard is currently working as the Director of Products & Services Edge Controller at Frequenz since July 2022. Prior to this, they founded their own startup board game publishing company called Quality Beast in 2016, where they served as the Founder and Creative Director. At Quality Beast, they were responsible for strategic leadership, branding, design and development, team management, budgeting, correspondence, social media strategies, crowdfunding campaigns, community management, prototyping, playtesting, and art direction.

In 2020, Dylan launched another side business called Wolfknap, a design and art studio that releases its own products and offers manufacturing services to external artists and creators. Dylan Howard founded this studio in response to the pandemic's impact on their primary business, aiming to generate passive income and provide a safety net.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Dylan worked at Necrotic Gnome as a Game Producer from April 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Sociomantic Labs, starting as a Web Developer from March 2010 to September 2012. Dylan Howard then became the Head of Ad Management, overseeing web development teams and managing client relationships. Eventually, they took on the role of VP of Development, leading the learning and development of over 250 employees globally, developing company-wide people strategies, and building an in-house learning program.

Dylan also has experience as the Founder and Web Developer at ArtServ, a web firm providing affordable services to artists and small businesses. Dylan Howard founded ArtServ in 2004 and continued to manage it remotely alongside their work at Sociomantic Labs until 2016. Additionally, they co-founded eatmoreshoes, an online magazine focused on the adidas brand from June 2010 to April 2014, and worked as a Web Designer/Developer at Anakan GmbH from November 2009 to February 2010.

Dylan Howard Cromwell completed their high school education at Garfield High School from 2000 to 2004, obtaining a High School Diploma. Dylan Howard then pursued higher education at the California College of the Arts from 2004 to 2008, focusing on Media Arts. In 2007, they had a brief study period at Universität der Künste Berlin, where they explored Design and Visual Communications, General. In addition to their formal education, Dylan obtained an SSI Open Water Diver Certification from Scuba Schools International in January 2013.
