Maria Plata

Maria Plata has extensive work experience in the food industry. Maria currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Innovation & Development at Fresca Foods Inc., where they have been working since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Dean Foods as the R&D Senior Manager for Innovation & Food Service from July 2017 to May 2019.

Maria also has experience working at Kraft Foods Group, where they held various roles. From August 2013 to October 2015, they served as the Section Manager of R&D Product & Packaging. Before that, they worked as a Senior Group Leader from July 2008 to July 2013. Maria initially started their career at Kraft Foods Group as a Senior Engineer from August 2006 to March 2008.

In addition to their time at Kraft Foods Group, Maria also worked at Nestlé as a Product Specialist from January 2006 to August 2006. Maria began their career as a Senior Engineer at Kraft Foods Group in January 2001 and worked there until October 2004.

Throughout their career, Maria has gained valuable experience and expertise in innovation, development, and research within the food industry.

Maria Plata attended Purdue University from 1992 to 1997 and obtained a degree in Engineering. Their field of study was Food Process.
