Will Merrick

Will Merrick has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Will currently holds the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at Fresca Tortillas | Wraps | Chips. In this role, they are responsible for structuring processes and building systems to support the business development team, leading projects for new product innovation and customer onboarding, and managing branding, marketing, and customer relationships.

Prior to their current role, Merrick worked at Walker Manufacturing Company for over a decade. During their time there, they held positions such as Manager of Sales & Distribution Channel Development, where they drove revenue through independent distributors, and Web, Print, and Branded Merchandise Marketing, where they managed creative services, marketing collateral, and content development.

Before joining Walker Manufacturing, Merrick ran their own consulting business called Merrick Applied Consulting. As the owner/operator, they provided information technology systems, services, and support to small businesses.

Merrick's entrepreneurial journey started as a franchisee for Blimpie International. Will successfully led operations for two sandwich restaurants, achieving double-digit sales growth and implementing marketing plans and incentives.

Overall, Merrick has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, project management capabilities, and expertise in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.

Will Merrick attended Boise State University from 1993 to 1995. During this time, they pursued a major in Business and a minor in English. Will obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in May 2020.
