Kakiu Ho

KaKiu Ho has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical and clinical research field. KaKiu began their career as a Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Scholar at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2005. KaKiu then worked as a Research Assistant in the Cancer Signaling Laboratory at The Chinese University of Hong Kong before becoming a Technician in the Cancer Drug Testing Unit at the same institution.

In 2010, KaKiu joined Roche Pharmaceuticals as a Global Studies Associate, where they were responsible for managing and overseeing global phase II/III studies in oncology. KaKiu also played a key role in managing clinical operations teams, developing operational plans, and coordinating with CROs and vendors.

After their time at Roche Pharmaceuticals, KaKiu joined PRA Health Sciences as a Project Manager, focusing on global/regional projects and client satisfaction. KaKiu later worked at Quintiles as an Associate Clinical Project Manager before being promoted to Clinical Project Manager. In these roles, KaKiu led multiple oncology Phase I/II/III studies, managed project timelines and budgets, and maintained communication with sponsors.

KaKiu then joined Eli Lilly and Company as a Clinical Trial Project Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the development and execution of global phase III registration oncology studies. KaKiu also played a crucial role in coordinating cross-functional study teams and ensuring trial start-up and enrollment strategies were executed effectively.

Following their time at Eli Lilly and Company, KaKiu worked at IQVIA as a Senior Clinical Project Manager, focusing on clinical trial management. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Research Senior Manager at Fresenius Medical Care Asia-Pacific, where they are responsible for clinical research and has recently been promoted to the role of Associate Director of Clinical Research.
