Ihor Akinshyn

Ihor Akinshyn, CISSP, currently serves as Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture at Fresenius Medical Care, focusing on the integration and development of security standards, processes, tools, and technologies. Prior to this role, Akinshyn was with Johnson & Johnson for over seven years, where responsibilities included Head of Security for Flexible Robotics Products and Services, as well as leading enterprise HIPAA, HITRUST, and penetration testing programs. Akinshyn also managed security, privacy, and compliance programs at BabyCenter. Earlier in a career spanning back to the mid-1990s, Akinshyn held roles ranging from Network Security Analyst at Medco Health Solutions to Information Security Architect at Europa Apotheek Venlo. Akinshyn holds a BA in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Newark and a BS in Robotics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
