Steve Bowman

Steve Bowman serves as the Senior Director of Program Management at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where the focus is on leading global cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing innovations in dialysis treatment. Prior to this role, Steve held significant positions at Shire, including Device Program Lead and Head of the Device Center of Excellence, overseeing device development for rare disease products. Experience also includes leadership roles at Smith & Nephew, where Steve directed a global R&D team in arthroscopic product development, and Johnson & Johnson, managing a substantial R&D portfolio and processes for biologic-device combination products. Steve holds a PhD in Orthopaedic Biomechanics from Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology, along with two BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
