Boban Kršić

Boban Kršić has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT security, with a focus on roles in management and leadership positions. Boban has served as the Corporate Head of Cybersecurity at Fresenius Group since 2023 and as the Vice President IT Security and CISO at Fresenius Digital Technology since 2021. Boban also holds a position as a Member of the Supervisory Board at AUDEG - Deutsche Auditoren eG since 2021. Prior to these roles, Boban founded DACONIS GmbH in 2010 and served as the Founder. Boban also has experience as a Business Continuity Manager and Chief Information Security Officer at DENIC eG from 2011 to 2021, as well as being a Member of the SSR2 Review Team at ICANN from 2017 to 2021. Boban has also held leadership roles at AUDEG - Deutsche Auditoren eG as the Founder and Member of the Executive Board (CEO) from 2017 to 2020 and at ISACA Germany Chapter as the Leader of Expert Group Information Security from 2014 to 2017. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Steria Mummert Consulting AG from 2007 to 2010 and in Strategic Product Management at AREVA NP from 2006 to 2007.

Boban Kršić has a Doctorate in Business Administration specializing in Cybersecurity Regulation from both Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III) and Business Science Institute, obtained between 2023 and 2027. Boban also holds a Master's Degree in Business Informatics from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2008 and 2012, as well as a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, Boban has obtained various certifications in areas such as data privacy, cloud security, ethical hacking, information security management, risk and information systems control, IT service management, and agile project management.
