Brandi van Leeuwen

Brandi Van Leeuwen, CIPP/US, currently serves as General Counsel at Fresh Thyme Market and has held various legal positions at Meijer since August 2012, culminating in the role of Associate General Counsel focused on privacy, commercial, marketing, and digital matters. With extensive experience in intellectual property, corporate governance, and privacy law, Brandi has been instrumental in developing and maintaining privacy programs while advising all levels of organizations. Previous roles include Senior Counsel at Sears Holdings Management Corporation and Associate Attorney at Schwartz Cooper Chartered, with foundational experience at DLA Piper. Brandi holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law, an MBA from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, and a BA in Communications from Monmouth College.
