Mohanned Abbas has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Mohanned currently works at FreshBooks as a DXP Engineering Lead, where they lead a team of DevOps-focused engineers and is responsible for architecting and restructuring the CI/CD process. Mohanned has been successful in maintaining team spirit and productivity, achieving 98% of their OKRs. Mohanned has empowered their team in self-organizing and defining goals, resulting in the documentation and constant updating of their preferred approach to Agility and SCRUM method.

Mohanned started their career at Research In Motion Inc. as a Software Engineer, focusing on JSRs implementation and UIFTF implementation and design.

Mohanned Abbas holds a Bachelor's degree in Specialization Computer Science, Soft. Eng. Accred. from Western University, where they studied from 2002 to 2010. In addition, they obtained a certification as a ScrumAlliance CSM from Scrum Alliance in the year 2020.
