Jan Rybnicek

Jan Rybnicek is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in antitrust law. Currently serving as a Partner at Freshfields since March 2015, Jan has also held positions as Counsel and Senior Associate within the firm. In addition to practice, Jan contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University since January 2018. Prior roles include Attorney Advisor at the Federal Trade Commission and Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Jan began a legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Mark S. Davis at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Additionally, Jan has experience in legislative support as a Legislative Aide for United States Senator Elizabeth Dole. Jan holds a JD from George Mason University School of Law and a BSBA and BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
