Kathleen Killen Veteri

Kathleen Killen Veteri currently serves as US In-House Employment Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer since August 2024. Prior to this role, Kathleen held various positions at Barnard College from August 2014 to March 2024, including Interim General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, Executive Director of Human Resources & Special Counsel, Interim Executive Director of Human Resources, Associate General Counsel, and Assistant General Counsel. Earlier in their career, Kathleen worked as a Litigation Associate at Fried Frank from 1996 to 2000 and at Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP from 2000 to 2001. Kathleen obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), summa cum laude, in Political Science from Boston College. Additionally, Kathleen completed a certificate program in New Directions for Attorneys at Pace University School of Law in June 2014.
