Edith Carmichael

Edith Carmichael has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Edith started their career as a Corporate Account Controller at ASA Recruitment in 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Biography Researcher for Infostrada Sports on a freelance basis. Edith also worked as a Sports Writer for the International Paralympic Committee, conducting interviews and writing athlete stories.

In 2015, Edith worked as an Online Editor on a freelance basis for the European Handball Federation, coordinating coverage of matches and managing social media. Edith then joined Vantage Market Entry as an Executive Search Researcher in 2016.

From 2017 onwards, Edith has been with Freshminds, a company specializing in resourcing and consulting. Edith started as a Candidate Manager and later held roles as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Manager. Edith is currently the Head of Search at Freshminds.

Edith Carmichael holds a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, which they completed from 2023 to 2025. Edith also obtained another Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, Edith obtained a certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from TEFL Org UK (TEFL Scotland Ltd) in 2013. Edith also completed a course in Inclusive Leadership Through Behavioural Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2022.
