Gaurav Kale

Gaurav Kale has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Gaurav currently holds the position of Director - Packaging Engineering at Blue Apron since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Sr Manager - Packaging at Blue Apron from January 2016 to November 2020.

Before joining Blue Apron, Gaurav worked at Chiquita where they held multiple roles, including Product Development Manager from April 2015 to January 2016, Process Engineering Manager from August 2012 to April 2015, and Production Manager from December 2009 to August 2012.

Gaurav started their career as a Packaging Engineer at Genentech in February 2009 and later worked as a Packaging Engineer at Johnson & Johnson from October 2007 to February 2009. Prior to that, they served as a Packaging Technologist at Chiquita Brands International from January 2007 to October 2007.

Gaurav's early work experience includes roles such as a Research Aide at the Biobased Materials Research Center from July 2006 to December 2006 and a Packaging Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University from January 2005 to June 2006 and August 2005 to May 2006, respectively.

Gaurav Kale pursued their education at various institutions and obtained degrees in different fields. In 1998, they enrolled at Savitribai Phule Pune University and completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2003. After that, they attended Michigan State University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Packaging Science. Following their time at Michigan State University, Gaurav went on to the Blekinge Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).

In addition to their formal education, Gaurav Kale also acquired additional certifications. In October 2008, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, although the institution that awarded this certification is not specified.
