Elena Newton is currently the CTO at Freshwater Advisors. Elena has previous experience working as a Director, Global Technical Services and Product Management at ONYX Graphics, Inc. (a Canon Group company), and as a Founder & Managing Partner at Inspiration Engine, LLC. Elena has also worked as a fractional CTO/CPO for Brainware Partners, DAGIZ, Pte. Ltd., NCA (Netherlands Charity Association), HP Asia Pacific, Astro Digital, and Hadley Corp.

Elena has a wide range of skills, including communication, product management, project management, frontend development, and customer experience. Elena is an expert in helping organizations design and develop exceptional customer experiences and products that are viable, valuable, and lovable.

Elena Newton has a BS in Business Management from Western Governors University. Elena interned in Rails TDD Development at Rubyriders, LLC. Elena is certified in Learning Print Production from Lynda.com and in DEV208x: Introduction to jQuery and edX Verified Certificate for Learn HTML5 from W3C from edX.
