Melissa M.

Melissa M. is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the VP of Global Tax at Freshworks since October 2022, overseeing all aspects of the global tax function. Prior to this role, Melissa held positions at Guidewire Software as the Sr. Director and Head of Global Tax, and at Arlo Technologies, Inc. and Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as Head of Tax. Notable accomplishments include managing the complex tax structure integration during the Cypress and Spansion merger and addressing the challenges posed by the 2017 Tax Reform. Previous roles also include Director of Tax at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where Melissa managed tax operations following the acquisition of Aruba Networks, and Sr. International Tax Manager II at SAP after Sybase's acquisition. Early career experience includes positions as Tax Manager at National Semiconductor and Senior Tax Accountant at Deloitte. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from San Jose State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
