Lisa Birrell

Lisa Birrell is a seasoned communications and public relations professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Communications and Public Relations Officer for the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools since January 2014, Lisa previously worked as an Account Executive at Catalyst Marketing Company from August 2012 to December 2013, and as a National Accounts Marketing Coordinator at Lyons Magnus from June 2011 to August 2012. Lisa's career began at The Fresno Bee, where Lisa held the position of Circulation Marketing Manager for over two decades, from December 1989 to December 2010. Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, specializing in Public Relations, both from California State University, Fresno.
