Senior Vice President / Government Guaranteed Lending Manager at Fresno First Bank

Michael Fanucchi has a diverse work experience in the banking and finance industry. Michael started their career as a Bookkeeper at Walco International in 1989. From 1990 to 1994, they worked as a Loan Specialist at US SBA, where they underwrote loans, performed servicing work, and promoted SBA programs. In 1994, they joined Valleycorp / Valley Wide Bank as a Commercial Credit Review Officer, where they performed credit review functions and participated in due diligence reviews during a period of growth through mergers.

In 1995, Fanucchi became a VP / SBA Lender at Regency Bank, responsible for all phases of the loan process, including sourcing requests, underwriting loans, securing approvals, and closing the loans. Michael also participated in construction loans. From 2000 to 2009, they worked at County Bank as a Regional Vice President / SBA Manager, overseeing the SBA program, originating loans, and handling special assets and loan liquidation work.

In 2009, Fanucchi joined Suncrest Bank as the VP Government Guaranteed Lending Manager, where they started the GGL department and handled all aspects of the loan process. In the same year, they also became a Board Member of Tulare County CDC / Business Finance Center and served on the loan committee. Michael later became the board President.

Fanucchi's most recent position is at Fresno First Bank, where they have been working since 2012 as the Senior Vice President / Government Guaranteed Lending Manager. In this role, they manage the bank's Government Guaranteed Lending Unit and is responsible for both department management and generating and closing their own loans.

Throughout their career, Fanucchi has gained a wealth of experience in government guaranteed lending, loan origination, credit review, and management within the banking and finance industry.

Michael Fanucchi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University, Fresno between the years of 1986 and 1989.
