Mariela Rubio

Mariela Rubio is an accomplished communications professional with a strong background in strategic communications, social media management, and athletic coordination. Currently serving as the Strategic Communications Coordinator for Fresno State Athletics, Mariela acts as the primary media contact for Women's Basketball, Swim & Dive, and Tennis. Previous experience includes roles as a Social Media Manager for the Fresno Dolphins Swim Team Booster Club and Social Media Coordinator at Jeffrey Scott Agency, where Mariela managed multiple social accounts and developed content strategies. As an Athletic Coordinator at Bullard High School, Mariela effectively communicated with coaches and athletes while managing competition logistics. Mariela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from California State University, Fresno.
