Matthias Kraus has had extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Matthias started their career at Knorr-Bremse, where they worked as a Sales Engineer for Railway Brakes. Matthias later joined Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, where they held various leadership roles, including Competence Center Manager, Head of Business Development & Marketing, Director of Automotive Sales, and most recently Vice President of Automotive Sales. In their current role, they are responsible for leading a global group of Sales Directors and their teams to support automotive OEM customers worldwide. Matthias has played a key role in preparing the company's profitable growth and success in the e-Mobility sector.
Matthias Kraus earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau Konstruktionstechnik from RWTH Aachen University in 1994. In 2019, they enrolled in INSEAD and is currently pursuing the BLB Business Leadership Program.
