Chris Michelena

Chris Michelena is a Project Manager at Frida since March 2024, previously serving as a Senior Systems Engineer and Test Engineer at Medtronic from March 2016 to March 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Clinical Engineering Intern at HeartWare Inc from January 2015 to March 2016, and as a Teacher Assistant and Student Assistant at the University of Miami between August 2012 and December 2014. Early experience includes volunteering in research at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis from August 2011 to July 2012. Chris obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Medical Devices) from the University of Miami in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Electrical Concentration) from the same institution in 2015. Prior education was completed at Miami Dade College from 2009 to 2011.
