Erica J. Mickens

Erica J. Mickens, CPA has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance. Erica J. began their career at Deloitte as an Audit Staff and worked their way up to Audit Senior and eventually Audit Manager. At Deloitte, they managed multiple audit engagements and oversaw the supervision of staff, budget setting, and client scheduling.

After their time at Deloitte, Erica worked as an Assistant SEC Reporting Manager at Hines, where they were responsible for supervising and preparing all SEC filings for two publicly-held REITs.

Erica J. then joined Bristow Group as an Assistant Corporate Controller and later became the Director of Corporate Accounting and General Ledger Services. In this role, they managed the monthly close process for all 21 global corporate entities, oversaw shared services functions, and had responsibility for global incentive compensation and aircraft insurance.

Erica also has experience in finance transformation as a Finance Transformation Supervisor at RSM US LLP.

Most recently, they held the role of Controller at Forbes Energy before joining The Friedkin Group as the Director of Corporate Accounting and Financial Services.

Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated strong leadership skills by recruiting, training, and managing a staff of up to 25 employees across various roles and responsibilities.

Erica J. Mickens, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting at the University of Houston from 1997 to 2002. Erica J. has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
