Ted Nelson

Ted Nelson has extensive work experience in finance and strategic planning. Ted currently holds the position of Director, Finance at The Friedkin Group since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr. Manager, Finance at the same company from February 2015 to January 2023. Before joining The Friedkin Group, Ted worked at Open Road Rent a Car as a Senior Manager and Manager in Financial & Strategic Planning from October 2011 to January 2015 and December 2006 to February 2012, respectively. Ted also has experience in various managerial roles at Gulf States Toyota, including Integrated Marketing Manager, Market Representation Strategy Manager, and Business Development Manager. Ted started their career as an Intern/Analyst at Gulf States Toyota and previously worked as a Designer at Office Pavilion - Houston.

Ted Nelson received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Houston from 1989 to 1993. Ted then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business between 1999 and 2001.
