Marvin van Schalkwyk

Marvin Van Schalkwyk is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Friend MTS since April 2018, Marvin previously held roles as a Solution Architect at Sky and a Senior Technical Architect at Piksel Inc., focusing on end-to-end solution architecture for digital services. Earlier positions include roles as an Architect at Silvermoon Business Systems and as a Java Specialist Architect for Sanlam Personal Finance, where Marvin mentored on Java server-side technologies. With a foundation as a Lead Developer at Medscheme and experience in enterprise messaging and managed healthcare solutions, Marvin’s career is backed by a BComm (Hons) in Information Systems and a BSc in Computer Science, both from the University of Cape Town.
