Robin Boldon

Robin Boldon has extensive experience in product management and strategic roles within the media and technology industry. They have held leadership positions in companies such as Friend MTS, OpSec Security, MarkMonitor, BBC Worldwide, BBC Motion Gallery, Edison Interactive, Efdex, and John Ryan International.

At Friend MTS, Robin currently serves as the Head of Product, overseeing product development and management. Prior to this, they were the Director of Strategic Account Management.

At OpSec Security, Robin worked as the Director of Product Management, leading the development of content protection solutions for rights holders and licensees.

At MarkMonitor, they also held the position of Director of Product Management, focusing on anti-piracy services.

During their time at BBC Worldwide, Robin served in various roles, including Director of Strategy - Global Content Supply Chain and Director of Digital Distribution - Sales & Distribution. They were responsible for developing content processing and distribution strategies, as well as implementing technology solutions for content logistics.

At BBC Motion Gallery, they were the Head of Operations, overseeing operational budgeting and resource planning for the Library Sales business.

Robin's early career included roles at Edison Interactive, Efdex, John Ryan International, and IT Network (Kinexus) Ideal Hardware, where they gained experience in production, webcasting, and research.

Robin Boldon earned a Bachelor of Arts (HONS) degree in Television & Radio from The University of Salford from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, Robin completed a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Science at Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology from 1991 to 1993. In addition to these qualifications, Robin also obtained several certifications including a Pricing Certification and PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in 2021, a Certificate in IT Architecture from BCS The Chartered Institute for IT (formerly ISEB) in 2006, and an Internal Consultancy Foundation Course from Techniques for Change in 2003.
