Charles Matthews

Charles Matthews is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in network administration and system support. Currently serving as the Information Technology Coordinator for Friends Of Children Of Ms Inc since April 2019, Charles oversees the management of a Cisco Meraki network across 30 locations and ensures network security through Cisco AMP. Previously, as an Information Systems Assistant from July 2011 to April 2019 at Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc., responsibilities included configuring computers and networking equipment, providing technical support for approximately 300 desktop users, and implementing remote administration technologies. Earlier experience at Jackson State University included server administration, network security, and desktop support. Charles holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Jackson State University, earned between 1995 and 2003.
