James Mark

James Mark is currently the Managing Director of Private Markets and Chief Strategy Officer at Wight & Company since April 2019, previously serving in senior leadership roles within the organization. Mark is also active in various board positions, including membership on the board of directors for Choose DuPage, Will County Center for Economic Development, Naperville Heritage Society, and Friends of the Chicago River, with a significant role as Chairman of the Board for the Chinese American Service League. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and Wight & Company, where responsibilities encompassed strategic direction and management in public and private sectors. Mark holds multiple degrees in architecture and business from institutions such as Northwestern University and Loyola University Chicago.
